Kudakwashe Dandajena

As the Program Manager of the Community of Scientists for the Next Einstein Forum (NEF) under the Department of AIMS Industry Initiative (AIMS I²) and Next Einstein Forum of the Global Network Secretariat of the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences – Next Einstein Initiative (AIMS-NEI) based in Rwanda. Kudakwashe is responsible for managing the NEF Community of Scientists ( i.e. Fellows, Ambassadors, Alumnus, African science entrepreneurs (Science-preneurs), Researchers, Scientists, Inventors and Learners), entrepreneurship; innovation portfolio, technical program development, global and continental science initiatives (i.e. Global Gathering (GG), Africa Science Week (ASW), Scientific African Journal (SAJ)), research development and innovation, as well as fundraising and partnerships management. Kuda comes to us from the African Leadership University, Rwanda where he was a Senior Computer Science Facilitator for Artificial Intelligence and Discrete Mathematics Courses. Kuda seasoned specialist with over 11 years of international experience in managing non-governmental/non-profit organizations, the public sector, digital transformation, infrastructure, high-impact scientific research programs & projects. Academically, he is a Ph.D. Candidate in Computer Science at the University of the Western Cape in South Africa. His primary research interests lie in the scientific areas of artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, data science, and related algorithms. Kuda holds a Master’s and Honours Degree in Computer Science.
