Benjamin Apraku Gyampoh

Benjamin Apraku Gyampoh is the Editor-in-Chief of Scientific African Journal. He is a researcher and lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana, and affiliate of the Institute of Climate Change and Adaptation of the University of Nairobi, Kenya. He has in- depth understanding of research management and the research and publishing landscape, having worked previously with institutions including the African Academy of Sciences, Kenya; and the International Water Management Institute, Ghana. His research centres around vulnerability assessment and adaptation to climate change; water resources and watershed management; Environmental systems analysis; ecosystem resilience; and indigenous knowledge systems. He is passionate about developing robust, reliable scientific systems and infrastructure for knowledge-led and evidence-based decision making for sustainable global development. He works to create strong and meaningful partnerships and right environments for science development and scientists to thrive and excel in Africa.
