Dikabo Mogopodi

Botswana

Dikabo Mogopodi holds PhD in Analytical Chemistry. She has recently joined University of Botswana where she works as a lecturer in Analytical Chemistry. She has also worked in several research institutions including Botswana Institute for Technology Research and Innovation and National Food Technology Research Center. Her research covers nanomaterials, chemical management, water management, food security with focus on indigenous plants and food safety. She serves as a board member for Botswana Academy of Sciences (BAS) and serves in the Secretariat committee of the African Network of Analytical Chemists (SEANAC). Among her roles is that she curates and manages official websites and social media platforms. Dikabo is an Associate of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapon since 2017 and is a Tony Elumelu Alumni (2018). She is a blogger and published author. She supports science activities in secondary schools and is involved in intellectual property issues in science and technology.
