Justina Adwoa Onumah

Justina Adwoa Onumah is a Senior Research Scientist at the Science and Technology Policy Research Institute of the CSIR-Ghana. She holds a Master of Philosophy Degree in Agricultural Economics and currently a PhD (Development Studies) Fellow at University of Ghana under the German Academic Exchange (DAAD) programme. Her research interest is in the areas of innovation, poverty, technology transfer, research-
policy-industry linkages, productivity studies and food security. She has been involved in a number of research projects in these areas and have about 11 journal articles to her credit. Aside her strong scientific skills, she is a great organizer of public engagement events such as conferences and policy dialogues. She has had three international academic visiting experiences at the University of Guelph, Canada (2011); University of Bonn, Germany (2017); and Aalborg University, Denmark (2018). Her passion is to see more action put into science through a strong research-policy-industry linkage.
