Gebbe specializes in issues of population, development and health. She obtained a Master’s degree in Populations, Development and Research at the Institute for Training and Research in Population, Development and Health of Reproduction at the Université Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar. She is involved in several research projects on population issues and in particular, reproductive health under the responsibility of Prof Mohamadou Sall (UCAD). The studies focus on sexual and reproductive health of domestic girls in Dakar, on the 10 causes of morbidity and mortality in Senegal, (IPDSR/who and Ministry of health), and on “good governance and social development” in Senegal with the APRM and the Senegalese Government. Recently, she completed an international seminar on “migration by sea” in Dakar (UCAD-IPDSR-CSRS, HETS and HES – SO / Geneva). She is particularly proud of leading the Coordination of the Network of Youth Chad (CRJT), a platform for youth activities in reproductive health, and is passionate about serving the local communities to promote health among youth since 2004.
