Jessica D’unienville is a Principal Research Officer for Knowledge Management and Education at NISTI, since January 2016. Amongst her daily duties at NISTI, is the leadership role in carrying out the R&D and Innovation Survey, a first for Seychelles.

Jessica is passionate and interested in Science Technology and innovation (STI) policy, an area she considers to further her studies. In her previous roles, she has played an instrumental part as a Research Officer at the Institute of Early Childhood Development, especially in conceptualization and setting up their Documentation Facility and first phase implementation of the study, to establish Milestone development of children in Seychelles. In addition, Jessica work for the Ministry of Health for three years as a Speech Pathologist, a position that she still holds on a part time basis. She holds BSc. in Speech Pathology, from Curtin University of technology.
