Sebay J.B Momoh is a STEM enthusiast with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Fourahbay College, University of Sierra Leone, and an MSc (with distinction) in Petroleum and Environmental Technology from Coventry University, United Kingdom. She works as a Petroleum Engineer at Petroleum Directorate, the authority responsible for regulating all upstream oil and gas activities in Sierra Leone. Sebay is a Techwomen Fellow, a US Department of State initiative geared towards professional mentorship for women in STEM. She is also the Program Coordinator for STEM Women SL, an NGO working towards improving science education in Sierra Leone, and increasing the percentage of women in STEM workforce. As a co-regional Ambassador for Technovation Girls SL, Sebay supports girls between ages 10-18yrs to learn skills they require to emerge as technology entrepreneurs and leaders. In April 2019, she was awarded "Young Professional of the year” by Heirs Africa and Nexte. In her leisure time, Sebay enjoys Netflix binge-watching and learning French.
