Abdrahamane Ouedraogo

Abdrahamane Ouedraogo holds a Master’s degree in Public Health and is currently working as a Girl Generation Program Officer in Burkina Faso to end female genital mutilation in Africa. With over 17 years of activism in youth organizations at national, regional and international levels, Abdrahamane became a founding member of the Network of International Youth Organizations in Africa and is currently serving as a member of the 2015-2018 Bureau.
The organization has helped to inform a number of policies targeting young people in Africa, particularly in the areas of health, education and economic empowerment. His expertise in organizational development and international advocacy, has also benefited a number of public health and education for sustainable development initiatives.
