Senior Program Coordinator

Dr. Peter Szyszlo, Ph.D. is a Senior Program Coordinator within the Department of AIMS Industry Initiative (AIMS I²) and Next Einstein Forum (NEF) of the Global Network Secretariat of the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences – Next Einstein Initiative (AIMS-NEI).  Peter is a member of the management team at AIMS Canada and an Adjunct Professor at Carleton University. He is a seasoned scholar and practitioner in the field of global higher education. His research and professional interests include academic internationalization, the knowledge society/economy, innovation transfer, and mapping institutional change. His current research focuses on the ‘third mission of higher education and mitigating disruptive change in global higher learning. He also has a long-standing commitment to education for development.
