Lwandle P. Simelane , is a Senior Science Officer in the Department of Research, Science, Technology and Innovation, mandated to promote and facilitate the integration of research, science, technology and innovation into policy, planning and national development processes. She is currently responsible for the portfolio of International collaborations, resource mobilization and ethics. She received a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. She has been actively involved in the drafting of national policies and strategies for science, technology and innovation.
