Jeshika Ramchund is a registered professional engineer employed as a Lead Engineer for the Developments Division at Bosch Projects (Pty) Ltd, South Africa. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and has 11 years of experience in the planning, design and implementation of water, sanitation, sustainable and integrated developments infrastructure projects. Jeshika was selected for the Mail and Guardians 2018 list of the 200 Young South Africans to watch in the Science

and Technology category; she was the winner of the South African Professional Services Awards in 2019 in the category of Engineering Young Professional; the South African Institution of Civil Engineering’s Young Engineer of the Year in 2019 (National and SAICE Durban Branch); South African Institute of Black Property Practitioners Rising Star Award in 2019, and Consulting Engineers South Africa Young Engineer of the Year for 2019.
