The Global Social Venture Competition (GSVC) provides aspiring entreprenuers with mentoring, exposure and $ 50,000 in prizes to transform their ideas into businesses that will have positive real world impact. In 2013, GSVC received 650 entries from nearly 40 countries. Two students of 2iE who invented an anti-malarial soap participated in the competition. There are winners of GSVC 2013 and they were selected in the top 30 innovations of the Global Innovation through Science and Technology (GIST) initiative. The next edition of the summit, which identifies and supports each year the most innovative entrepreneurs in the world, will take place on 11 and 12 October 2013, in Malaysia.
