Scientific Programme Committee

The Scientific Programme Committee sets the strategic direction for the NEF and establishes the programme and themes of the NEF Global Gatherings.

The Scientific Programme Committee sets the strategic direction for the NEF and establishes the programme and themes of the NEF Global Gatherings. Members of the Programme Committee are scientists, policymakers, and media and industry partners within Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields. These individuals have demonstrated leadership within their respective areas of science, policy or industry. Programme Committee members bring varied experience, however are all keenly interested in Africa’s transformation through STEM.

The NEF Programme Committee members serve a two year term and meet at least once per year.
