Africa has made significant progress in addressing the region’s technology, research and innovation challenges since the beginning of the 21st century. One way that could see the continent meet their Millennium Development Goals among other development initiatives would be to adopt best practices that have been proven to work in other parts of the globe. A summit organized by Knowledge4Innovation (K4I) held at the European Parliament from September 30 to October 2 sought to identify ways to remove obstacles in the way of Europe becoming a successful innovation economy.
