Jeff Daniel Steeven Nze Memiaghe is from Gabon. He holds a Bachelor Degree (B.A.Sc.) in Agronomy, options Soil Science and Environment from Laval University. He holds also a Master Degree (M.Eng.) in Environmental Engineering, with research Thesis from École de Technologie Supérieure (University of Quebec). His research topic is focussed on the study of urban anthropic soils, soils heavily contaminated by heavy metals (Cu, Cd, Mn, Ni, Pb, and Zn) and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs).
Thus, Jeff is a junior soil and Environmental Scientist, interested in Soil science and Environment, particularly by interaction soil-contaminant. Jeff collaborated with UNESCO, for the program Mathematics for Planet Earth (MPE) in 2013. Additionally, He worked as junior soil and environmental scientist for different environmental companies in Montreal City.
Recently, he started a PhD program in Natural Resources and Environmental Science at UNBC (Canada). His researches focused on study of Chromium in Urban soils. Jeff is also involved in the Francophone community living in British Columbia. Jeff wants to work in Gabon, in Soil Science research area in order to create a Gabonese Society of Soil Science.
